In this public hearing, the Board wishes to gather information regarding the hazards to the public and workers posed by the management of transuranic (TRU) waste at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) as well as the Department of Energy’s (DOE) plans to address those hazards. Business Meeting: DNFSB Work Plans and Staffing Plan for Fiscal Year 2015
The Board has released its 2015 Annual Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey data. A summary of the survey results, the results themselves, and trend data for the last six years can be found at the link above.
In a recent blog, OPM Director Cobert, after reviewing the results of the 2015 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS), recognized the DNFSB for its efforts to improve its organization. The blog, in part, reads:
It’s clear that some agencies truly excelled in their internal efforts. One small agency, the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board, made double-digit gains in all three indices. Its engagement score went up by 14 percentage points, its global job satisfaction score by 17 points, and its workplace inclusion index by 12 points.

She was confirmed by Congress on August 5, 2015, as a DNFSB Member, for a term expiring October 18, 2019, and subsequently appointed as Chairman by the President on August 10, 2015.Attachment:
