The Board's primary product are formal safety Recommendations that communicate the urgent need to address issues pertaining to worker and public safety at Defense Nuclear Facilities. Recommendations are always sent as letters to the Secretary of Energy and may or may not include attachments or supplementary information, such as Technical Reports.
- Letters and Correspondence
All letters sent between the Board and the Department of Energy, as well as between the Board and other entities is considered Letters and Correspondence, which includes, but is not limited to: Recommendation Letters, Recommendation Letters with Technical Reports, Staff Issue Report Letters, standalone Technical Reports, standalone Letters, and Reports to Congress. This section is a one-stop shop to access all of this information.
Reports produced by the Board include Site Representative Weekly Reports, Technical Reports, Staff Issue Reports, and Reports to Congress. All Reports with the exception of Site Representative Weekly Reports and Reports to Congress are published as Letters to the Department of Energy. Reports to Congress are sent as Letters, so they also can be found in Letters and Correspondence.
- Public Hearings and Meetings
